A bit of progress being made on the Spit, Emil and Mustand III since my last posting here. I just made a big and very basic mistake on the decals ror the 'stang. I failed to give the model a coat of Klear before putting the first decals on and, you guessed it, they've silvered!!!

My second and current model is a Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Vb Trop, intended to go with the Beau. Much still to be done and as ever I've made many mistakes, one of which was to put the upper wing roundels on before the 'no walk' lines doh! thanks to my much more experienced friend Gary for putting me right. Not the first time (or last) from Mr. Wells!

My first proper model since I was 17...

My excitement for this hobby was rekindled by two good friends at work, we made a visit to the Hendon museum in Colindale and afterwards popped into the Hannants model shop, which just happened to be close-by and I bought a Tamiya 1/48 scale Bristol Beaufighter.

The pictures here are some that I took during construction of that model.

Like the title of my blog suggests, I tend to spend a bit of time in my 'shed'. To be precise, it's not actually a shed, it's our spare room. What do I do in my 'shed'? I make feeble and often disastrous attempts at glueing together plastic models. I absolutely love doing it too!!!!!
